Todd Jason

For the last 20 years I’ve helped thousands of people reinvent themselves through vetted processes of development that focus on mindset, experimentation, and consistency. My clients include Kaiser Permanente, Google, DocuSign and my work has been featured in the NY Times, Fast Company, and Success Magazine. ReInvention represents the very best techniques I’ve come across.

After 20 years in finance, technology, and ultimately as a senior leader reporting to the C-suite at a $90B retail company, I started my reinvention in 2020 as an experiment: could a ‘side hustle’ save me from corporate burnout? Now I’m an NYU-certified Professional Coach helping people reinvent their careers to make great money doing meaningful, impactful work aligned to who they really are.

Hi, I’m Todd.

Trying to figure out what’s next in your career…in a world that feels like it’s changing faster than you can keep up?

You’re not alone.

The rules that used to work – pick a path, work hard, climb the ladder – aren’t so reliable anymore. Entire industries are shifting. AI is changing how work gets done. And suddenly, the question isn’t just “What should I do next?” but…

“Am I even on the right path at all?”

That question hit me earlier than most.

I started my career in the first internet boom, back in the late ’90s, working at DoubleClick in New York. It felt like the future. Until it didn’t.

Everything changed after I experienced September 11 attacks firsthand – running from the towers, like so many others that day.

That moment forced a question I couldn’t ignore:

What am I actually doing with my life?

So I stepped off the default path.

What followed was a deep dive into personal development, coaching, and human potential, long before it was mainstream. I had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from people like Tony Robbins and Eckhart Tolle, and I helped build some of the first online coaching programs guiding people through real, structured transformations around their lives and careers.

That was over 20 years ago.

And in a lot of ways, I’ve been studying the same question ever since:

How do you design a life – and a career- that actually fits who you are…in a world that won’t sit still?

Now we’re in another massive shift.

  1. Automation. Entire categories of work being redefined in real time.

And I see so many smart, capable people stuck, not because they aren’t talented, but because they’re trying to make decisions using a map that no longer matches the terrain.

That’s where I come in.

I help people zoom out, get clear, and understand where things are actually going – so they can make smarter, more aligned moves toward what’s next.

Not just chasing trends. Not blowing everything up overnight. But thoughtfully reinventing – in a way that’s grounded, strategic, and energizing.

Because this isn’t about finding a “perfect job.” It’s about building a path that gives you:

  • more clarity
  • more freedom
  • more purpose
  • and yes, more success, on your terms

All while staying realistic about how the future is unfolding.

And I believe this deeply:

You don’t have to stay on a path that no longer fits. And you don’t have to start from scratch to build something better.

You just need the right perspective, and a plan.

Let’s figure out what’s next.

Some fun facts about me:

I’m a bit of a personal development nerd (okay…a lot). I’ve probably invested $150,000 in my own growth – coaching, training, retreats – because I believe you can’t guide others where you haven’t gone yourself.

I’ve completed seven 10-day silent meditation retreats in the tradition of Vipassana. (Yes, 10 days, no talking. Highly recommend…and also wouldn’t wish it on anyone unprepared.)

I’ve been on the Ricki Lake Show, VH1’s ‘Where Are They Now’ and was a finalist to be on the very first season of The Apprentice (yes, I know). AND all these things happened without applying, they were all random. Ask me and I’ll tell you about it….

I’ve lived all over the US, and we’re now designing a life that lets us live all over the world.

And at the core of it all…

I believe this life is short.

Short enough that it’s worth asking the bigger questions. And worth going for something that actually matters to you.

If you’re ready to stop drifting—and start designing what’s next…Let’s do this.

Hi, I’m Chris.

Feeling stuck? I help frustrated professionals take the right next step in their career.

Work’s not working for you, but you’ve got bills to pay and people who depend on you. You can’t just quit. Finding a new job is a project. And who’s to say you won’t just jump out of the frying pan into the fire? But the days are getting to be unbearable – something’s gotta change!

You keep asking yourself: Is this really how I’m meant to spend my time?

Maybe you try to cram all your fun into the weekend. No pressure! But you blink and it’s Monday… again.

Or you numb yourself just to get through the workweek – booze, Netflix, doomscrolling social media – pick your poison. All it does is waste your limited free time and leave you feeling empty.

I feel you. I lived this for years until I finally got so burnt out trying to pretend to care about the latest make-work project that…. I don’t want to say I invented Quiet Quitting, but I did it before it was cool.

“Slacking off” (aka giving an A- effort) led to a layoff – the best possible thing that could’ve happened to my career. It gave me the time and space to actually dig deep and think about how I really wanted to spend the second half of my working life.

Maybe you don’t have the luxury of a paid sabbatical to go on your dream job vision quest. But I promise you: with focused effort, you can take control and reroute your career so you actually enjoy your work.

I’m not telling you you’ll find your dream job overnight. But once you figure out what you really want from your career and start making your plan to go get it – even before you actually take the first step – you’ll feel so much better.

Whether it means changing jobs, changing careers, or just changing how you do your current job, you’ll finally have clarity, a plan, and control over your career. And I promise: you don’t have to start over from scratch to find career fulfillment.

Let’s get you out of the endless loop and feeling better about work – and life – than you have in years.

Some fun facts about me:

  • Training and practicing as a Coach has made me a better husband and father. For example, a good coach:
  • doesn’t decide for you, but helps you make the right decision for yourself; and
  • …knows when to shut up!
  • Friends have told me “You should try standup comedy!” I have — they were wrong! But I do find a sense of humor helps break the tension to keep things appropriately light, so we stay in the right mindset when we get into the heavy stuff.
  • I’m one of those weirdos who truly enjoys running, without any Airpods / music / podcast etc. to keep me company. And I will talk your ear off about minimalist shoes, if you let me (…don’t.)
  • I would coach for FREE, if I could. I can’t – I’ve got a mortgage – but if I were independently wealthy, I would still do this. That’s how much I love my job! (And I want that for you, too.)

In case you care about credentials: I’ve completed New York University’s Professional Coaching Certification program comprising three semesters of study and over 150 practice and mentor coaching hours in alignment with the standards of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Prior to making Coaching my full-time job, I spent nearly 20 years in corporate roles of increasing responsibility culminating in a decade of leadership over global teams.

My path to career fulfillment didn’t happen overnight, either. In fact, even after I’d figured out my long-term career vision, I had to go back into the belly of the corporate beast for a few years to support the plan. It was well worth it. Now I’m doing work that is meaningful and impactful and aligns perfectly with who I am. In short:

I love my job.

You can too.

Let’s do this.
